About Us
Founded in Aug, 2009, Phoenix Cultural Centre of Waterloo-Wellington (PCCWW, formerly Divine Performing Arts World Tour KW Organizing Committee) is a provincially registered nonprofit organization.
Our Mission:
To revive and breathe new life into the traditional Chinese culture and
classical arts, while providing society with the sublime beauty and examples of
eternal goodness; to introduce traditional Chinese culture, including art,
philosophy, holistic healing and mind-body practice, etc., to satisfy a growing
demand in these areas. We hope to bridge the culture gap between East and West.
Our Main Project:
Presenting world class Shen Yun Performing Art's productions in the
Waterloo-Wellington Region.
Even before PCCWW's establishment, the trained and highly motivated volunteers
have worked diligently in past years, and succeeded in introducing the
world-renowned Shen Yun (formerly Divine Performing Arts) shows into our local
community, and presented five stunning Shen Yun shows with full house at Centre
in the Square since 2009.
PCCWW is concentrating on bringing about the 2011 Shen Yun shows and making it a
new holiday tradition.
